Thank you Veterans.

Just wanted to thank all those veterans out there in the world for all that you do to keep me and my family and friends safe while fighting for our freedoms to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

To all those family members who have members in the service, thank you also. Your husbands, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and friends are amazing human beings for all that they sacrifice in order for all of us civilians to have the freedoms we have.

May God bless you all and keep you safe where ever you are out in the world. And may the world know complete freedom, peace and love for all.

This post is in memory of Grandpa Charlie. We miss you. Thank you for all those wonderful memories. You will always be alive and with us through those beautiful memories we have in our hearts.

    1. I just saw your photos of the parade. It looks like it was a lot of fun. Small country town parades are so nice to see. I liked how the kids were all around collecting candy too.

      1. I’m more in the city now and I work a few hours a day a few days a week at Dixie Chili and that’s where everyone came to eat and then got there chairs to watch the parade. It was great I love how they throw the candy out to the kids. There ready to they have their nice little candy bags

      2. Looks like there are a lot of trees around so it still has a bit country to it, at least to me. Our city here is really hard and grey with streetlights, high buildings on every corner and lots and lots of traffic. We have pockets of country around our city but not so much green because it is a desert here in the city. The rich homes have huge trees and grass everywhere because they can afford the high water bills that come with those lush lawns. How fun that you got to see the parade from work. The kids are so cute to watch when they are excited about celebrations like that. Kids laughter and smiles are some of the best things to see.

      3. It’s still city here I probably just shared phitis with trees I am in a nice area amd can deel safe wwalkibg my dogs and tge police stations right down on the corner at times we hear sirens. Its pretty quiet other wise.

      4. Here in the city we live right next to a hospital and we here sirens and helicopters all the time. When we get up north it is hard to sleep because it is super quiet in the country. One time the elk were making a lot of noise because it was mating season and I had never heard that sound before. It really freaked me out, so scary. I laugh about it now.

nice tribute! we don’t have a memorial day in Canada we honor our service men and women in November on Remembrance day. my dad was in the army but never saw combat, I cant imagine and there are not enough words to all who enlist and got to battle.
