Rachel over at Rachel and fierce started up a Grow the Gratitude tag. Thank you Rachel for including me in such a great idea. We do need some positive out there in the world right now. Check out Rachel’s site and her post on her family. You have a beautiful family and I love how close you all are. Your kids will have many things to be grateful for when they are adults
Okay, this is how it works. Every day for seven days, you post one thing you are grateful for or how gratitude was shown on your day.
To grow the gratitude, each day tag a couple people to help it grow. We spend a lot of time always hearing the negativity on the news, social media, or whatever, so lets make it a little bit more thankful.
Rules-
Have fun
show gratitude
Be sincere
Post everyday for seven days something that you were thankful for that day. It doesn’t have to be elaborate. It can be simple, or it could be how you showed gratitude to someone or vice versa.
Tag s few fellow bloggers to grow gratitude
Give a shout out to Rachel and fierce, who created the tag and the person who tagged you to join.
Day 6
I am grateful for life and all the living things that surround us in our home.
One time we had a friend come over to our house and walking around he made a comment that I never realized until he brought it up. He said “You know, you have a lot of life in this house.” Looking around my husband and I realized he was right.
Every corner of our home always has some form of life in it. Besides us, we have three cats, two of them are rescued cats, a giant tank full of large goldfish, plants everywhere, chickens, and even baby chicks. We even have aquatic plants growing in our kitchen at the moment. The adult chickens are outside of course but the babies from the incubator stay under a heat lamp for awhile. They are lust walking bundles of fuzzy roundness…too adorable.
Life is such a beautiful thing, to be reminded of that is always good. To encourage this we always gift neighbors, friends and family with plants and seeds to create their own world of life in their homes as well.
I tag the following bloggers for their beautiful photography in showing us and reminding us all how beautiful life is out there.
That’s sounds like fun. We used to have a fish tank and I really want to have more plants inside. Your cat is adorable.

Thank you Tanya, the fish are very calming better to watch then most shows on TV right now that’s for sure. My son’s cat was a rescued cat. We have three cats and two were rescued cats. You should get more plants for inside your home because they help with toxins. Spider plants are safe for animals and I also think snake plants are as well. With other plants I just keep them up high away from the cats so they don’t chew on them which they never have, they seem to know what is safe.
