Dancing with the leaves.

“Dance with me amongst the Dandelions and we’ll make a thousand wishes.”

Remember that tree above our pool that my daughter saved as a little girl. Before we moved into our home here in the city they were going to cut that tree down because of all the tiny leaves and pollen it drops into the pool. We said we didn’t care, extra clean up for us, but the tree stays over the pool. It is a living thing and provides food and shelter for other living things.

One morning my husband looked out our bedroom window and watched a little finch enjoying the pollen from that tree. They love it when our tree is full of pollen balls. Like tiny fluffy yellow flowers everywhere. Not so much fun on the allergies but oh so fun watching the bees and birds snack on it.

Thought I share these photos my husband took that morning. There are many days when I will sit under the tree or be in the pool swimming and looking up above me I will see doves looking down at me, tiny sparrows chirping away and an occasional butterfly will flutter around that tree.

Almost like they are giving us a show of thanks for saving it for them. Here they are, I like to call these photos…dancing with the leaves.

Hanging in there.

Is it really greener on the other side?.

Whoops, almost slipped.

Oh the struggles.

That’s it, I’m outta here, I got what I wanted.

Now this is fun.

I need a break.

I’m just a Lil’ dare devil.

Later, time to head out. Those giant sparrows have shown up.

Hey!…have you been watching me this whole time?

Have a beautiful day where ever you are at this moment. Enjoy life and those little things that bring you joy. Remember to be thankful to the gifts we are given everyday when we open our eyes to them. And remember to always pass on kindness. God bless you all from all of us at Our Little Red House.

Though it is the smallest of all seeds yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in it’s branches,
