Blogmas day 12…DIY pretty packaging.

Yesterday I did a fun chocolate treat idea that the whole family can make together. Today I will be sharing with you all fun ways to package up all those sweet treats you have made to give out.

First package is pretty simple. Using brown paper bag pieces (just cut up squares from a grocery store paper bag) and some white parchment or wax paper, wrap your chocolate pieces up like a little gift.

I used twine to tie up.

Then add a pretty bow to the top.

Second package is a little paper lace cake doily.

Fold in half.

Then fold in half again and glue open side close.

Add a ribbon and tie at top.

Once everything is dry, add chocolate treats.

Third package is a small paper bag. Trim a little off the top if too big.

Then decorate with pretty paper.

Three quick and easy wrapping designs to make yourself and save money. Add these little packages to a baskets filled with all kinds of edible treats.

    1. Thank you. I feel the same way when I visit your blog, although this past week I am behind so I haven’t spent a whole lot of time online. My husband always says that some of us out there are cut from the same piece of cloth, guess we are both from the same piece it would seem. I love vintage papers, stickers, ribbons and all kinds of little do dads as they say. Just so fun being creative.

DIY packages are my favourite. I usually gather different materials through the year and then use them to wrap up the presents. Brown paper bags are my favourite. I love how they look when paired up with twine, ribbon, and decorated with the help of markers and paint and even old newspapers! It’s so much fun, isn’t? Thanks for sharing and have a good day 😀 Aiva

    1. I bet your home is just like mine, filled with all kinds of pretty little items. This is my favorite time of year, this and Spring. I love clipping flowers, drying them and pressing them for watercolor art later. So much fun seeing what items we have on hand to create with. Have a fun filled week and Holiday season too.

    1. Awww, you’re sweet Lisa…thank you. I used to work in retail sales and was a retail buyer. I was exposed to all kinds of products back in the day before I became a stay at home mom. II would also make items to sell in the shops. Best job and hardest job ever is being a mom, better then anything in the world, as I know you know. Have a fun week with those babies of yours.
