Blogmas Day 20…Santa photos through the years.

Some photos from my families Santa photos through the generations. Santa has changed every decade. These are just a few I have on hand that I put out to decorate in frames around Christmas time. Last year I made a huge bulletin board and decorated it with lights, old cards and Santa photos of our family through the past decades.

My husband as a little boy.

Me as a child with Santa. Of all the Santa photos I have, this Santa seems to be the most Jolly.

I call this one worried Santa. This is an old photo of one of my cousins. The next few photos are from his pile. As a collector of vintage photos, his mom had a treasure chest full of vintage family photos.

Either this Santa was fed up with the day…long day. Or he had enough with my cousin…who knows the reasons behind this concerned or very angry Santa. My cousin’s leg looks a little close to Santa’s belly, maybe he gave old Saint Nick a good kick in the belly. That could put anyone in a sour scold.

I do not know who these little girls are, but look how cute the little girl’s expression is and how Santa seems to match hers.

Photo of one of my many cousins and one of my aunt’s with a Santa friend of the families. Every year at Grandma’s house Santa would show up to pass out gifts to all us grand kids, and there were a ton with 9 siblings my Grandmother had.. Sometimes there would be two Santas. One was a female Santa pretending to be a Santa as well, a bit confusing for us kids I will say. I have a photo somewhere of the two Santa’s holding me up in a photo. The second Santa was the original Santa’s daughter all grown up. Guess they decided it would be fun to have double the Santa’s. It was a little weird, but still funny.

That’s it everyone. I do have a ton more photos of me as a child with Santa and my kids with Santa at the Mall but they are packed away in my closet under piles of summer clothes I have stored away. The house is a mess right now but that’s because I have been decorating for Christmas. Happy holidays everyone.

An old photo of my father with his twin and half sister.

So many beautiful photos and so many memories to cherish in years to come. No matter how we choose to celebrate, Christmas is a special time of the year. This year, because of the pandemic, it’s going to be a quiet night in, yet we are determined to make the most of it 🎄⛄❄️
