Sunday greetings and a box of blessings.

Happy Sunday everyone. Today’s bible verse from my friend’s box of blessings is…

Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the life eternal to which thou hast been called.

                                        I Timothy 6:12

To everyone who sent out well wishes and prayers for my daughter’s friend and my cousin…thank you all so much, you are very kind. Please keep my daughter’s friend and her family in your prayers.

My cousin’s husband’s test results came back cancer free. My daughter’s friend still needs our prayers to help their family with their loss now. We are living in a time when so many are suffering. So many prayers for so many. Some people loose their faith in times like these but always know that God is by your side. Spread love and kindness in every step you take out in the world. There are many who need a kind word or just to know they are loved. Stay strong, stay safe and God Bless you all from all of us at Our Little Red House.

    1. Thank you, and as always blessings to you and yours, to your friends and neighbors too. So much is going on right now. Even in my little area I live in. Not far from us there is a battle that media is not bringing up. They have 24/7 guards standing by and rumors say a group of individuals are flying in to start the protest. The other day when my husband and son were out getting supplies for the chickens he said there were several military helicopters flying up and down the area in the distance. There is a tension so we are getting ready in case we have to head up to the mountains and out of the city. I have never prayed as hard as I have in these past two years. In the city I am from there is a huge battle that the whole world is watching even if media doesn’t report it. Every day I am thankful for all the gifts I receive from God and the safety my family is getting. It is getting bad in our city so we only go out at certain times. So thank you so much for your prayers. The whole world needs them. God bless you and yours as well and have a beautiful week.

Praying for you, your family, and people that surround your home who are affected by this brewing battle ground that GOD will be with you all. I’m praying that there will be peace in the hearts of the opposing camps that there will be no violence. Praying also for the safety of everyone. The peace of GOD also helps calm the hearts in this distressing times. We are praying and we all know that GOD is listening, we just have to keep the faith in Him.

      2. Amen. You are so kind and all our prayers and faith as one is very powerful. God is listening and hearing all our prayers right now. I will pray as well, that everyone comes to a place of piece and there is no violence, that no one gets hurt. Thank you so, so much for being so thoughtful…God does see all this and he is listening.

    1. Hard times for sure. We buy second hand as much as possible and eat a lot of rice and beans. We also use coupons and shop in season. We also have kind neighbors where we share food from each other’s gardens and share magazines and items before we donate to others. It is a good way to meet neighbors and look out for each other. There are many churches in our city that also give out care boxes for families or individuals who need them. There are lots of ways to reach out and not only help others by volunteering in the area you live but also to get help for ourselves as well.
