A pretty Fall garland to decorate your home.

Supplies needed-

There are flowers in some of the stores like this Hobby Lobby in the city. Some of the dollar stores though are running low on Faux Fall supplies at the moment.

Faux Fall leaves and flowers

Twine

Tacky glue

I used tacky glue for most of this project because I had a major glue gun injury. It was a bad one so I will spare you the details. Please, please be careful with those glue guns everyone. I know this, been crafting for years, just needed to be a mom for a second here and warn you all too. Okay, back to this craft.

Plastic buckets to store supplies in, makes clean up so much more easier.

First step is to roll out some twine. Depending on the area you are hanging it, from your measurements will vary. My garland was about 5-6ft long.

Glue leaves and flowers every 3-4 inches.

Some of the flowers I am using come from a church sale I attended in the summer months.

Make sure to glue leaves and flowers to the backs as well to help balance everything out.

Let it dry overnight then hang around shelves, doorways or mantles. Happy Fall decorating everyone.

Do it yourself tips- If you can’t find faux flowers, or you want to save money (they can get expensive in some stores) then go out in nature and pick leaves to glue onto twine.

If you don’t have Fall colors in your area then paint your leaves in what ever colors you like.

I love this season and as soon as August rolls around each year I start bringing out little touches of fall decor that I had stashed away. Wreaths and garlands are the most fun to make…you can never have too much! And you don’t always have to rush to the supermarkets to get them as a little crafting goes a long way with DIY fall wreaths 🙂

    1. Me too, the colors are so amazing. Wreaths are some of my favorite home decorations to make and I try to have one out for all the seasons.

    1. Awww…thank you, that is so sweet. I do go a little over board sometimes with the color in my own home decorating but they are just so beautiful to me. My favorites have always been the colors from the sea…greens and blues. I try to always share some color through my photos to share with everyone. We all need a little cheer now and then.
