If you are a regular follower of mine then you know I use plastic lids for all kinds of art projects. This year I did a bunch of animals for ornaments. Years past I have done hearts and stars.
Supplies needed:
Clean plastic lids from empty food containers.
Scissors
permanent markers or paint pens.
Twine to make hang tags with.

Find some free coloring templates online to copy and use for your plastic lids for shapes. Or if you draw really well you can just draw out simple shapes and animals yourself to decorate.
Once you draw your shapes onto lids, cut out, then decorate or paint with pens. You will need pens as paint does not really stick to plastic. Permanent markets and paint pens work the best.
Then glue a hanging loop to the back to hang from.Another inexpensive and easy craft to do yourself. Happy crafting everyone.

Nice upcycle!
