Sunday greetings from Our Little Red House.

Hi everyone, hope you all are having a beautiful morning. Still using the bible my daughter gifted me with, opening it up to whatever page and verse I see. My little box of verses my friend made for me is packed away under all kinds of boxes and furniture right now. I am hopeful that is where it is because I just can’t find it.

My friend made me a copy of this after her husband’s cancer was cured, thanking me and others for including him in our prayers.Another sign from God above that he is there hearing our prayers.

This is the page that opened for Today’s verse…

Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness that these people are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to the Lord’s instructions. They tell the seers, “Stop seeing visions!” They tell the prophets, “ Don’t tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies. Forget all this gloom. Get off your narrow path. Stop telling us about your ‘ Holy one of Israel.”

Isaiah 30:8-11

Please add my neighbor to your prayers. Her original surgery was canceled but now she is scheduled to go in this coming week. She is very worried and frightened of course. She has four little girls that her and her husband are still raising.

An update on the prayers from you all a couple weeks ago…Luca is doing better and has movement in his left hand again. If you remember the first time he had his three strokes he was struggling and now he is sitting up and getting more movement. He still needs to learn to walk again and they are going to take him into surgery for what they believed caused the strokes so please continue to keep this family in your prayers. He wants out of the hospital to see and hold his baby girl again, babies aren’t allowed in the hospital.

I have so many important projects to work on, just have to stay focused on my goals and not get caught up in stressful drama again. We always say whatever plans God has for us, will happen. We just have to keep our faith strong and stay on the right path. The right path for my family and I is to stay away from drama, even old drama that was settled and apologized for decades ago. Your prayers are helping. We have so many blessings, and there are so many others out there that are also blessed. Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone could see that and be grateful for it too.

I don’t normally add clips to my Sunday greetings but these two came up in my recommendations a couple days ago and they are just too nice not to share. Just watch this clip below on what heroes the vast majority of our men and women in blue are. We need them…we really do.

The divide and hate out in the world, I blame on the screens and the instructors/influencers that dazzle people who are insecure and vulnerable by manipulating their emotions, and controlling their goals…thus killing their dreams.

“Those little black screens of ones own reflections are masters at false truths.”

But enough of that nonsense, time to focus on the positive. And since Christmas is around the corner, this clip below will remind us all what the true meaning of Christmas is all about. The humbleness from this man being gifted with a big surprise would melt anyone’s heart. I would like to believe even all those cold hearts out there.

Big thank yous go out to…

Jody for the limes from your garden. I will be using them for some natural remedies and cleaning.

Joe for the vintage 70’s denim jacket he gave my son.

Vance and Lillian for the cool boots you gave my daughter.

G- for the tamales…we are keeping you in our prayers that surgery goes well.

My son baked muffins for the sale and another neighbor made tamales.

Thank you M for the pitcher. I put some faux flowers in it for now but eventually I will add some dried flowers. I have it on my kitchen antique dish dresser thing…what the heck is it called? Anyway, it’s there now and looks pretty by our dining table.

We don’t normally have this many exchanges of gifts but we had a neighborhood yard sale this weekend, We were all trading items and sharing home baked food with each other. We also made a few extra dollars. Not much money. Mostly it was just a fun day of getting some sunshine, meeting new neighbors that have moved on our block, and sharing news with each other.

It has been a great weekend. I do hope you are all having a great Sunday too. Stay safe out there and God bless you all.
