Well, darn it…dollar days are officially over everyone. There’s a new sheriff in town lets just say and prices are no longer what they used to be. Instead of dollar stores there are $1.25 stores and up. Instead of Dollar days at your favorite local thrift store there are $2 days now. Everything has increased.

I still have some items in my box of unfinished projects that I picked up on dollar days back in the day. Makes it look like I am writing about decades ago…nope, days ago is more like it. Anyway, here is a project I finished of a grab bag of little wooden vases I picked up on a dollar day from the past.

I added whimsical and simple designs using fine tipped paint pens. They are about 2 inches, so really tiny.

Then I stained and sealed them.

They are tiny little vases. Only small flowers will fit in them. I happen to have some tiny flower blooms in my garden that morning to add to them.

These tiny vases would be so pretty on a dinner table for each guest at the table. Their own little pot of flowers to take home with then after the party. Happy crafting everyone.
