Look what you can make using nature’s supplies…a little sail boat. You will be amazed at what you can find out in nature to create with. Just put on some walking shoes and look around where you live for items that you can create art with.

I found some of these sea pods and a twig and thought what a cute tiny sailboat they would make.

I just glued the twig into the seedpod using E6000 glue. I like using tacky glue for a lot of my crafts too. With E6000 you will need a glue gun to add a dab of that to hold your twig in place while the E6000 waterproof glue dried for a day.

Then I looked through my favorite scraps to find the perfect pattern for a sailboat.

I glued kite strings around the sails and let that dry before attaching to the boat.

Then I wrapped the top of the string to the twig and glued in place.

It’s beautiful out there, grab the kids and start taking them for walks, and create to your hearts content. Happy nature crafting everyone.
