Make dough Lady bugs. You can make salt dough or cornstarch play dough to use for your bugs. here are the recipes for both…..

Salt dough- 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 cup of salt, 1 cup of water.

Combine flour and salt in large bowl. Slowly add water, stir and mix to form dough. Form into a ball and knead for approximately 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth, then store in ziplock bag.

Once you make your dough, shape it into small oval shapes and flatten with fingers. Leave out to air dry for a couple of days depending on humidity level where you live. You can speed up the drying time by putting them in a toaster oven on 200f for a few minutes to see if that helps.

After they dry then you can start painting your lady bugs. I use acrylic paints and fine tip paint pens for dots. Happy crafting everyone.
