Don’t throw it away. Anything that your food comes in, or products come in, you may be able to use it for something else. So instead of sending it to the dump, look at it for awhile and see what you can do with it to make it’s purpose something else.

This is a small container I painted and doodled on to use for some of my small craft items for storage.

I use paint pens to doodle with. You can label the containers on the outside with paint pens or just add a paper label to use that isn’t permanent. That way you know what items are in the containers.

You can decorate glass jars too. Make sure to clean all the labels off really well, let dry, then decorate away. It’s a fun project for the kiddos too. You can store all kinds of items in them. Happy recycling everyone.
