A month of Photos.

Mostly this month was all about us getting back to walking, renovating, a little shopping and lots of creating. Oh…and prepping and painting…lots of painting.

I’m slowly replacing the Christmas decorations I donated before we moved. We had one truck to fill for our big move and what ever we could fit into that one truck, that was what we brought with us to start our lives over.

I finally found an ornament for a dime, which is all part of the tradition…that’s the challenge, plus I really like these colorful little wooden ornaments.

You know…there are people all over the world who are actually hating what they call ” The Newcomers” they are the ones moving out of violent cities, who are being blamed for the housing shortages, and inflation everywhere…being blamed for the political unrest everywhere…well…that’s wrong. It’s not the people moving …it’s not their fault with what has happened, they are just the scapegoats.

Who do you really think has bought up all the land and all the homes…dig deeper and you will get your answers. People are being directed to turn on each other, meanwhile the real culprits are sitting back and watching as we all turn on each other…like a game. So…please, if you are reading this, stay open to things. Stay alert and out of conflicts and chaos. Love your neighbors, spread kindness not hate. Stay away from the haters.

Anyway, lets not think too much about that. I want to share some of the pretty from this month. I really hope whoever is reading this is okay. We should all keep praying for things to turn around and for the better.

This month we went to a swimming hole called The Blue Hole. A local man walking his dog pointed us in the right direction to where this was. He also told us about a secret hidden waterfall that only the locals know about.

The water is really cold. It’s also really clear.
It’s a pretty blue towards the deep end. Next to the swimming hole is a run off where the water is always moving and pretty fast. That is what I was looking for, otherwise the water stays too still, and dirty with more bacteria. This is a nice natural pool.

We followed his directions and it was hidden that was true, very hidden, and secluded. We drove behind an industrial type area with warehouses and a storage center…not pretty at all. But go a little farther and it is beautiful.

We all are a little unnerved from the violence that has been happening everywhere lately, and it’s hard for some of us to get back on those trails to explore out in Nature. It’s important that we still try, just go in groups and stay alert.

So something sort of happened when we were at this secret waterfall, which turned out to be nothing thank goodness, not the waterfall, that was amazing, but what everyone was feeling for a moment at that waterfall, which proves that we are not the only ones on edge.

When we got to this hidden location, there was no one around, it was in the middle of nowhere. We parked and started walking to the little bridge where we were told the waterfall would be. And sure enough the nice man who told us about this waterfall, was right..it was worth a visit and so beautiful.

There was some damage around the bridge from the storms we have been having. It doesn’t look deep from the photos, but it was a drop off and the waterfall went pretty far down from the top of the bridge, the photos don’t do it justice.

Then a truck drives by and slowly starts backing up and turning around to where we were…and stops and parks in front of where we were parked, right in front facing our truck, nose to nose. This is not a busy road, it was a business road and it was after business hours, when all the warehouses were closed. The person inside the truck was not getting out, they were just sitting there looking in our direction.

There was a man that was riding his bike on the trail from inside the woods. When he got to the bridge by the waterfall he saw how the truck was acting and then he stopped at the top and waited there while we were down there looking at the fall, and he watched that truck.

We were headed back to our truck to get our packed lunches and when the guy on the bike saw us safely get into our truck, he gave the other truck a concerned and sort of mean look like he was watching them and he wanted them to know that. He was watching to see if they were up to anything and when he saw what we saw (they were just a young couple together), making sure we got inside our truck…the guy on the bike got back on his bike and continued with his ride. He was waiting to make sure we were all okay out there alone before he left.

The trail goes deeper into the woods, and most people ride mountain bikes through the trails.

My husband was with us, but still, the man on the bike made sure to stick around until he knew we were all safe from whoever was in that truck that had stopped. That was so nice of him. My son and I were walking in the woods when we saw the guy on the bike at first, just popped up on the trail smiling and riding his bike, and we both said hello and he smiled back and said hello. My husband was taking a video of the waterfall back on the bridge.

I think everyone is a little more cautious now when in the Ozarks after the summer we had. People still love getting outdoors, but we all are still being careful it seems. I’m noticing this everywhere…people are on edge, like something is coming. I always think of the quote…

“By the pricking of my thumb something wicked this way comes”

This is the month of creepy things. I don’t really like October, just being honest. I especially don’t like seeing or hearing about terrible things happening around the world. I believe with what happened last month in September, in front of the whole world, many people had their eyes opened to just how hateful some people can get, how far they can go with their envy, jealousies, the control they crave, and just that ugliness of how they try to hide what is festering inside of them…so many eyes were opened recently to the fact that …they don’t just hate others…they want to harm them…and that’s when evil was shown to the whole world.

So everyone has been on edge lately, but that truth, that we all just went through last month and still are going through….it needed to come out into the light…and now everyone sees it. Everyone sees that line now…the divide. Truth always wins. Just give it time, the truth always comes out.

Anyway, here are this months photos. There is a lot of beauty out there you guys. I will always encourage everyone to get out and walk in nature, meet and greet people, share eye to eye contact, speak to each other. Just be you, that’s enough…just be the way God made you… spread kindness, love your neighbors…make peace and never conflict. If you find yourself around people who crave the energy of conflict…run, stay far away from them, ignore them, they are irrelevant and always will be…no worries, eventually they all get exposed. Time is always on the side of truth. Stay away from the haters.
