An early morning Fall walk.

We are fitting walks back into our schedule. It’s just too pretty out there not to go on nature walks. So…back to walking we go. This walk I am sharing with you all isn’t at the Little Lake, its on another trail I like to walk. The trail is right next to a beautiful creek. Right now there are colors popping out all over the place, it almost looks fake, like a drawing…I mean a painting. It’s gorgeous out there right now.

The temperature was perfect, just a little breezy for a sweater in the morning. I love sweater weather. It was a little cloudy that morning, but I don’t mind, I like that too.

I stopped off to look for acorns. I need some for some kits I made. They are holiday snowmen with little acorn caps.

As soon as I took a slow step, a little frog started jumping around the area I was in. The little fellow blended in so well with the leaves I barely missed it. Such a cute little critter.

It continued on hopping away, to a safer place perhaps. I hope so, I can’t believe how well he blended in with the leaves. He was there the whole time.

I stopped off at the bridge to watch the leaves fall down into the creek.

It was so breezy, there were so many leaves falling into the water, I watched the leaves go down the stream racing to be the first.

One time, and I have that photo somewhere in my archives, I watched a deer and her little fawn walking slowing down the creek as I stood on the bridge quietly and waited as they got closer and closer to where I stood. They looked up and saw me standing on the bridge and stayed to stare at me as I stared at them…so adorable. I will have to find that photo again. It would make a great coloring page. I haven’t had much time to design coloring pages . At least I’m finding some time for walks again.

I only stay on the bridge for awhile. I continue on my walk hoping to see more colors. And oh boy did I ever. Right now we are at the peak when it comes to Fall colors. Colors are exploding everywhere.

Happy Fall everyone. Get out there and walk, the colors are changing fast. Take a walk with friends and family, the perfect time for that.

Prayer request- Please continue to pray for the capture of the person or persons responsible for the missing and murdered girls in Arizona. I still believe this is the pattern of a serial offender. If you are in Arizona, up north, please be careful. Until they announce that there is someone very dangerous up around that area, people are not safe. It almost looks like it is all being hushed, or not addressed the way it should be. Check out all the missing girls around the four corners, in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado…something is not making any sense. Another girl has been added to the MMIWG list, Chaliste Colelay. Please add the Colelay family to your prayers. Thank you.
