Here we go again…my little wooden ornaments obsession. Now I am in a whole new part of my country to shop for these wooden treasures. I was having a hard time finding some at the beginning of the year.
I hardly found any at a huge Pickin event, and the antique stores I went into were charging a lot for these types of ornaments. I try to stay within a budget but I did come across one that I didn’t have in my collection and it was $5, which is the most I have ever paid for one of these ornaments. Over the years I have picked these colorful ornaments up for .25 cents or less.

Then one day after a walk around the lake I stopped off at one of my favorite thrift shops and found two bags of these wooden ornaments. There was only one ornament in one of the bags that I already had, all the rest were new ones to add to my collection. The prices for each ornament in this grab bag make the ornaments less than .20 cents each. Hey…that’s part of the fun for me, the bargain part…and I also love to find something I collect. I have always loved wooden items.

So anyway, here I was thinking there were none around this new state I moved to and all of a sudden two large bag fulls showed up at my favorite thrift shop. I still need to gently clean and disinfect them. Here they are, this years wooden ornaments I found…

I didn’t take single photos of all of them, these are just some of my favorites. My favorite was the nativity, the tiny detail in it is so cute. Happy shopping adventures everyone. Stay safe and God bless you all.
