Just sharing some trees I came across out there in the retail world for decorating tips. There are so many beautiful trees out there right now, just gorgeous. Trees seem to be all about natural hanging types of branches. The faux trees look so realistic now.
I also noticed they have brought back those silver icicles that our grandma’s used to hang on trees. My grandma used angel hair, fiber glass. I remember the tassels …what are they called? You know…those tiny slivers of silver you hang a strand at a time. They were still doing those in the 80’s too. They’re back but now but they are like $20 a small box. I think they were less then a dollar back when I was a kid.
Anyway, here are some Christmas trees I came across while out Christmas shopping. They’re some pretty unusual ones. I love the traditional trees with all kinds of pretty ornaments on them.
I noticed more bows on trees. This tree had stuffed bows in a pink color. The tree also had signage on it, that’s kind of different. Paper ornaments hanging in the window. I think paper ornaments on trees looks nice too. I like the skinny trees. It looks like this one has gold painted egg shaped ornaments on it. The two colors look nice together. I liked the huge Poinsettia on this tree. This little tree is full of dried orange slices. They look very pretty in the sunlight. There were some macrame Santa’s on this tree with cinnamon sticks that added a nice fragrance to the tree. This was my favorite tree. I think it balances out really well. I love the color choices too. The ornaments have snowflake symbols, so pretty. This little tree in the corner of a window display had framed art on it. I thought this was a good idea and might make some frame art to add to our tree, at least one little frame. The framed art on the trees was sweet snowman scene. This pink tree had all kinds of fun colors mixed together and lots of baubles . I like the traditional colors for Christmas not really into pink. I thought this tree was just over decorated, it’s hard to see the shape of the tree. I like the ornaments, they are nice. I just think this tree has too much happening here. Poor thing has lost it’s shape.Tiny lights and beige and gold baubles. This tree was full of those silver strands of icicles. I liked this tree, there weren’t a lot of decorations on it, just a simple design. I loved the shape of this tree. I have a variety of trees for each room in my house so every room has a Christmas tree in it. Here are all the picks that they are adding to tree now. You fill in all that space with more branches. They look so realistic now. I’ve never seen a tree like these. They are made from tree branches. I might try to make a smaller version of this type of tree. In case you are wondering how much these trees cost and this is an empty tree, you still need to buy these beautiful ornaments separately. Want a faux tree that looks realistic, then it cost over $1,000 dollars. This tree in the corner reminds me of the game Candyland. If you have silver pipe cleaners you can make a miniature version of this tree. A tiny silver tree with colorful glass baubles. A tree with trees. This tree was filled with mini bottle top trees. I really liked this tree too, just a simple design. Bottle top trees always look better grouped together. These unusual trees were made of fabric ribbon it looks like.I’ve never seen a tree like this before either. I like the idea, but I don’t like the color choices. I would replace the black navy strips of fabric with green strips of fabric instead. This was a cute little tree and I love the felt container it’s in. You can make a little tree like this with some real branches from outside. I thing these are so cute, they would make nice hang tags. What a great idea.
So, did you see any tree you liked? I hope this gives you all some ideas with your own trees. I have 7 trees to decorate for our home. Have fun decorating everyone.
