Supplies needed:
Twigs and branches cut down into 3 inch little logs. I picked mine up walking by the creek the other day and had my husband cut them down into tiny logs. These will be the body pieces for your gnomes.

Faux fur- Sometimes you can find some on old stockings that you can cut apart and use the scraps for crafts. Use a razor to cut a triangle from the faux fur. Glue this onto your little log, this will be the beard.
Sew a little cap- You will need small scraps of fabric. An old sweater is nice to make hats with. Cut a square and fold over into a triangle, sew up one side inside out then turn right side out after finishing sewing. You can add a tiny bell to the top or a little pom pom.
Add a little nose- tiny wooden beads make great noses for your little Tomte. I used sheep’s wool to felt noses for mine and added powdered make up to color their noses. Glue the nose to center of faux fur beard, then add cap and glue down in place.
I added a little tree or a tiny wreath to my gnomes. These gnomes were tied on cookie bags to be passed out. Happy crafting everyone.
