Take a walk back to the Little Lake with me.

There was chatter about that the Little Lake had some very unusual visitors…Pelicans. Sadly I missed seeing them in person because I was so distracted by so many other things. So by the time I remembered, weeks later, by then…they had left. I talk walks everywhere, not just the Little Lake. I didn’t see any birds swimming around on my most recent lake walk.

I walked all around, looking for Pelicans…nope not here, not there, not anywhere…sharing some Dr. Seuss there. My son used to love those books. Anyway, I didn’t see any. I saw a whole lot of pretty though. I can’t believe this weather we are having, it feels like Spring.

This Spring like weather won’t last long, so I have been taking advantage of these beautiful days and walking more.

The little lake in December was just as beautiful as any other month. Yes, the leaves are all gone but that to me is even beautiful. I love how you can see through the trees now, where as before the woods were thick and everything was hidden, which is also nice.

This everyone….is the Little Lake in December, enjoy.

And for an extra bonus, I thought I share some photos from another walking trail I like to walk. Happy walking adventures everyone.

And into the woods we go.
We could use some rain.
But there is still some green out there and new growth, so that’s good.
Look at this tree, it’s so bumpy, what kind of tree is this? Remember, I come from the land of cacti.
Some children left this on this stone bench. I thought that was so sweet.
Nature’s natural stained glass.
Don’t forget to look up too, we miss so much if we are always looking down.
Doesn’t this sort of remind you of a Monet.?

    1. Your welcome Liz, I have been so crazy busy since we moved, I haven’t had as much time to blog and visit my favorite sites. I hope you are well and getting out there in nature to walk too. It’s so healing and peaceful. Hope you’re having a great beginning to a whole New Year.
